The John McEnroe Tennis Academy is a tennis academy founded by tennis Hall of Famer John McEnroe in New York City. The academy was founded in September 2010, on a 20-court $18 million tennis complex, designed by Ricardo Zurita, on Randalls Island in Manhattan.

This SPORTIME Club, our flagship, is also the flagship location of the John McEnroe Tennis Academy (JMTA) and the world’s largest indoor tennis club and academy. Located in Randall’s Island Park in Manhattan, the facility, which SPORTIME constructed in 2019 at a cost of over $20 million, just underwent a $50+ million expansion and renovation and was named the Racquet Sports Industry Association’s “Private Facility/Commercial Club of the Year” for 2024.

Our one-of-a-kind club features over 260,000 square feet of facilities and amenities, including 29 hard and soft-surface tennis courts in climate-controlled buildings and year-round and seasonal air structures. 5 hard-surface and 7 soft-surface courts are outdoors for the summer season, and lighted for evening play. The club also features six dedicated pickleball courts, an athletic training center for group and private sport-specific training, a full service Café, a well-stocked pro shop, flexible event spaces, and multiple, beautiful and comfortable, lobby/lounge spaces and locker rooms that make it easy to relax after play and to spectate and socialize.

We offer over 300 indoor and outdoor tennis and pickleball courts, as well as indoor volleyball, turf, hockey and sports rinks, and gyms, at our 17 clubs across Long Island, in NYC, in Westchester and the NY Capital Region, and in New Jersey.
