Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus, is 10 blocks west of downtown Rochester. Rich with history, Saint Marys began in 1889 as a joint project between the Sisters of Saint Francis and the Mayo brothers and their father. It has grown over the years and now has 1,265-beds and 70 operating rooms. It is one of two Mayo Clinic hospitals in Rochester.

The Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester is a 2,059-bed teaching hospital located in Rochester, Minnesota. It comprises the Saint Marys Campus with its Mayo Eugenio Litta Children’s Hospital, as well as its Methodist Campus, forming an integral part of the Mayo Clinic academic medical center.
