Our team at “MEY New York” is composed of stylists from Tokyo, Yokohama and Nagoya, Japan, each of us, with 10+ years experience. Having lived in NYC since 2015, we have been able to establish ourselves as Japanese-New York Stylists.

“MEY” originates from the Japanese phrase — “Issyou-kenmei”, which means “a dedication with the best efforts”. Our dedication is to making our clientele look better than they could ever imagine. “MEY” also has another meaning which is “Me” and “You”. We utilize sensitivity in our precision craft, doing whatever it takes to make your day, and to have you walking out of our doors feeling marvelous.

MEY New York has two separate floors, each boasting their own unique style and flair … From the pure, glowing, clean white aesthetic of the 1st Floor, to the vintage, Man Cave comfort of our basement level, offers great music from 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, our spaces are unmatched.
