At just 20, Chef Tomaso left Sicily in pursuit of the American Dream. With the skills he learned in our Nonna’s kitchen, he built life as big as his presence, opening over 50 restaurants and winning a James Beard Award. Here, his passion for Italian dining lives on.
Some kids grow up playing with blocks. Chef Joey grew up playing with knives and tomatoes. Cooking was in his blood. He learned the craft from Tomaso, then followed in his footsteps, opening 7 concepts and counting. The Sicilian Butcher is an ode to his father–– a celebration of heritage and hospitality.
