We’re kicking off our birthday celebrations with a whole new menu! Well, actually it’s an old menu if you want to get technical about it. Over 220 original cocktails have graced our menu since 2015, and for the next two months, we’re serving a special menu that brings back favorites from every year we’ve been open. It is a tribute to a decade of great drinks, and great company. Cheers to the next ten!

The Up & Up is a craft cocktail bar in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. Follow the arrow pointing down the stairs leading from MacDougal Street into an historic space, once home to the Gaslight Cafe, the birthplace of the Beat Generation and venue for some of the most storied musical acts. Here, nestled among the William Morris wallpaper, marble, brass, and wood, you will find a new kind of neighborhood cocktail bar. One where hospitality and skill work in concert.

The Up & Up formula is simple. Small, beautiful, comfortable, precise. We do one thing, and we strive to do it as close to perfect as possible. We create an atmosphere that is ideal for intimate gatherings, dates, before and after-dinner drinks, and nite-caps. Our aim is to envelope guests in our own curated world while keeping ourselves behind the curtain at all times. We give our guests a beautiful space, beautiful drinks, and then we fade away to let them enjoy their companions.
